No voy a hablar nada de los Kinks porque tenéis un sitio estupendo donde leer acerca de ellos, especialmente del álbum “Arthur or the decline and fall of the British Empire”: http://drmusicstudio.cmact.com/Grupos/miscelanea60.htm#Arthur
Pondría algo de este disco pero suelto pierde mucha magnitud. “Arthur” es como el “Sgt. Pepper’s” o el “Tommy” de los Who, una gran rueda de canciones con más o menos hilvanación pero con piezas inseparables. Hay que escucharlo entero porque es una de las mayores obras de arte que nos dejaron los años 60.
Así que os recomiendo la adquisición de dicho Lp (de manera lícita o no, no se enfade señor Blasco) y os dejo uno de los solos más sucios de la historia del rock (¿Cuántas veces he dicho ya esto?). Agarráos los pantalones en el minuto 1:20″ que igual se os caen.
Ray Davies era un genio. Un genio.

Uy uy uy. Suena a conservatontos nostálgicos. E Irlanda era parte del British Empire. Haz algo para que te deje de considerar mi héroe finneano

No es lo que parece, Tom Sawyer. De veras que no es lo que parece. El disco es una crítica bastante ácida del modelo tradicional británico de ver la vida. Si tienes tiempo por favor escúchalo, mastica las letras y disecciónalo porque te va a encantar. Lástima que años después Ray Davies vendiese su alma al diablo de los sires …
Gracias por recordarme que Irlanda era parte (y desgraciadamente un trozo lo sigue siendo) del Imperio de Su Majestad (esto también es sarcasmo).

Es que de los Kinks había oído las 5 o 6 que me sonaban del Greatests Hits. Si sigues posteando musica de éste calibre nadie se va a fijar en lo que escribas jajajaj.
¿Las canciones más simples son las que mejores? ¿La navaja de Occam funciona en la música?

1- Si la gente oye las canciones y obvia mis tontadas todos salimos ganando,
2- Es como decir que te gustan todas las rubias y ninguna morena. Hay grandes canciones complicadas (A day in the life) y grandes canciones simples (All day and all of the night). Al igual que hay Giseles Bundchens y Evas Longorias.
3- ¿Ves como es mejor que solo oigan las canciones?
